But I think fundamentally something like this could be a good idea if they iron out the wrinkles. Obviously it's too expensive for that now, too buggy at launch, form factor not good for quickly checking notifications, etc. Maybe something like this ends up as a pure companion device and people keep a small phone in the pocket and a larger device in a bag for when they're on the train or at the coffee shop. And the form factor should be substantially more usable and durable than folding screens in my opinion. ![]() I hope they keep pushing on this because it's at least interesting and new in a field full of sameness. Like the old saying about Henry Ford and customers only wanting faster horses. ![]() ![]() I get the "solution in search of a problem" sentiment about the Surface Duo but I also think it's fundamentally the good kind of that.
